- Graduated from Military Medical Academy in 1975
- Dean of Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology of Medical Department of Military Joint General Staff from 1982
- Graduated from the Specialist level 2 (equivalent to a PHD) in 1995
- Dr Quang is the Orthodontist for the Vietnamese heads of state, governors for different provinces, and senior officers for Vietnamese army such as former President of Vietnam 1992-1997 Le Duc Anh, and former Vice President of Vietnam 2007-2016 Nguyen Thi Doan. He also has been doing many charity treatments for the Vietnamese in Vietnam and in UK. 
He has many successful medical researches such as the use of Vietnamese traditional remedies for the treatment of oral diseases. For example creating a medicine using the skin of fragipani.
